May-June saw a national poster campaign to promote national minority rights with the slogan “Equal rights of big and small, majorities and minorities, are the heart of democracy”.

In May, Civic Initiatives organized a training session on Minority Rights Advocacy for members of the Ukrainian National Minority Council and representatives from cultural and educational associations. This was followed in June by two highly successful seminars for local government and media representatives, from Priboj and Prijeopje and from Alibinar respectively, and a meeting with the Municipal Council for Interethnic Relations in Zrenjanin about future seminars.
